The team at True Outdoors did an awesome job removing a huge oak tree from my backyard. Limited space and structures complicated the job, but it didn’t deter them for long! When it became evident they were not able to utilize a crane as planned, they went to work dismantling the tree by hand. I can’t recall when I’ve seen a team work so hard and so well together. Additionally, it was the most entertaining thing I’ve seen in ages. These guys have mad skills, and I couldn’t help but watch them work. They constantly communicated to ensure each others safety and to avoid damaging my house, shed, fences, driveway, pavers, even my grass, and took the same care with my neighbors property!! This is not your typical service provider - they were extraordinary from the Owner down!! I highly recommend True Outdoors if you need an Arborist or a tree removed. EXCEPTIONAL at every level!

We needed a 37’ four truck tree with a 5’ truck removed for a pool deck expansion project. Ethan True provided a quote which included cutting, removal of debris and stump grinding. The tree took five hours including the cleanup. A couple of days later the stump grinder arrived and completed the project. This is not the first time I’ve used True Oitdoors and I’m certain I’ll use them again.

We had an incredibly dangerous dead tree looming over our house in the front yard. The wife and I had a baby recently and with my wife quitting her job and staying at home to care for the baby, we didn't have too much money to spare. At some point, True Outdoors was chopping down trees in the neighborhood, they saw our tree and knew that it was a liability and it had to come down. I wasn't home at the time, but my wife says they knocked on the door and asked about it. My wife explained our financial situation and the guys respectfully walked away. Next thing she remembers, they were out there cutting it down! They chopped it up into manageable pieces and offered to haul it away, but I asked to keep it for fire wood. Sometimes this world can be an incredibly dark place. True Outdoors are the good guys. I have so much gratitude towards them. I'm not sure what made them decide to treat us so well, but if you ever need tree services, I know that they'll do the same for you.

Ethan & his crew did a great job recommending the trees needing attention to stay healthy and removing the ones dead or too far gone to save. They pointed out limbs threatening my home and pool area and removed them with precision and skill. Priced very reasonably and any complaint I had was quickly addressed. I will use their services again and would recommend True Outdoors to anyone.

I’m not sure there’s enough space here to say how great this company is. From my first encounter with Conor during the estimate, to the actual project being done, everything was professionally handled. Ethan was even on site the majority of the second day. He took the time to explain things to me in a way that made sense. I also watched him with his crew. He taught them as they worked. This company is not just about making money. They are very much about doing right by the landscape while also doing they best they can for your wallet. Understandably, tree trimming/removal is not what most of us want to spend our money on, but when it has to be done, go with an honest company who genuinely knows what they’re doing and cares about what they’re doing. I will call these guys again when I need more work done, and I will highly recommend them to everyone I hear of needing tree work. They’re prompt, polite, professional, personable…and did an incredible job both with the project and the cleanup.

I needed 5 large pine trees removed from my property. I looked up tree services and Ethan True, the owner of the business, came that same day and had the trees surgically cut and removed the same day for a fair price! His equipment is top quality and he works fast but safe! The buildings next to the trees didn’t get a scratch! Highly recommend him!

3 of the 4 trees we had trimmed were spiked, which is not ANSI standard. We chose True Outdoors because they are part of the ISA chapter and are supposed to prune trees according to the standard. After finding the spike marks in the first 2 trees, I was told the climber was a fill in and he was told not to spike trees but that just means no one was overseeing the work being done to tell him to stop. Conor told us the owner/arborist would be here to oversee everything being done but he wasn't. Ethan signed a waiver stating he will take responsibility should anything happen to our tree from spike damage. After finding the third tree with spike marks I contacted Ethan, but he never responded. I trusted that they were doing things right so I didn't watch the whole time but I know now I should have. I am worried for the health of my trees now and sad for the damage that can't be reversed. Edit: Ethan did finally respond after I wrote this review and he said he will also take responsibility should anything happen to the third tree from spiking.

We hired true outdoors to trim up 3 trees that were close to our home. They did a phenomenal job and arrived on time with an efficient crew! Very happy with the work, knowledge and pricing. All around AMAZING experience

These guys were great! With arborists on staff they really know what they are doing. They trimmed several of my trees and cut down a pine that was dangerously close to the house. They were very aware of how to make proper trims that do not damage, indeed may help the tree. The clean up was immaculate. Friendly, nice and financially reasonable. I will use them for all my tree work in the future (even though that may be a while because they did work that will help control growth for several years). Thank you guys! great work!

Conor and Killian were very helpful with their expertise and fair pricing, they had a massive crane to take a tree out of my back yard and it was very fun to watch. Ethan the owner was also very honest and easy to work with, I am recommending True Outdoors to all my friends and anyone who needs tree work done.

My uncle was in desperate need of a tree removal. he only had one week to get the tree removed from his yard since he had a concrete company coming to pour some concrete. I called at least six different companies to come out and give him an estimate. Three companies didn’t even show up after they said they were the two that did show up were both extremely overpriced. I don’t normally write reviews, but I really felt the need to let everybody know that true outdoors came to his rescue. They were shocked when we told them what the other companies tried to charge. They came out a couple of days later and did an amazing job. The customer service and work quality was incredible, I can not say enough good things about this company.
